Kaleidoscope / Poster

£40.00

Avonmouth, UK, 2023
by Henry Woide

A tributary of the River Severn carries pollution from the industrial estate of Avonmouth into the river’s estuary. Upon close inspection, kaleidoscopic surreal hues of toxic chemicals and heavy metals reveal the dichotomy of their beautiful colours, shapes and patterns.

This image is part of Where The Flow Ends, a series documenting the Severn, the longest and most polluted river in the UK. Along its course, human life, industry and nature rise and fall over time, echoing the tides of the Bristol Channel.
